Intel has created a real monster with the i7-8700. While the rated 65W TDP shouldn't be taken seriously, the CPU is a beast for gaming and productivity.
Intel's Core i7-8700 is surprisingly similar to the company's more expensive -8700K in our benchmarks, but its bundled cooler cannot cope with the CPU's thermal output.
The Intel Core i7-8700 offers good gaming performance and Hyper Threading support but lacks overclocking and isn't as good value as the cheaper i5-9600K.
